Manual sealing claps: types and uses.

TYPES OF MANUAL SEALING CLAMPS:
The sealing clamps are divided into impulse and constant heat bar sealers.

Impulse clamp sealers – especially suitable for polyethylene.Suitable for the closure of polyethylene sacks and bags, even with large dimensions. They can be used to seal polypropylene and laminates packagings with a maximum thickness of 0.25 mm. The characteristic of the impulse models is the heating of the bar which occurs only for the few seconds necessary to seal the material. The impulse seal normally appears as a smooth line on the bag and can have a thickness of 2 or 3 mm.

Hot bar sealing clamps – for polypropylene and barrier materials (like coffee bags)

The hot bar sealing machines are characterized by bars that remain at a constant temperature, and are primarily used for welding polypropylene bags and barrier material. The standard temperature is adjusted according to the product to be sealed. The heat sealing may appear in three ways, smooth if the clamp has a Teflon coated bar, streaked or knurled and has a thickness ranging from 10 to 12 mm.
The hot bar sealing machines allow the precise adjustment of the sealing temperature (from 0 to 200 °C) but, unlike to the models with impulse welding, can not be equipped with a timer.
The operator must pay attention to the sealing time.

Further use: sealing of bags with valve 
The sealing machines are also used to seal bags containing powders, since they allow to seal the valve in a hermetically manner and without efforts.

When you need to seal bags and envelopes in different locations within companies, workshops and other workplaces, you can easily solve the problem by choosing clamp sealers. These can be easily transported, have a low weight and allow you to close even large bags by overlapping the seams if necessary.
The clamp sealers can have one or two sealing bars with variable length from 150 to 630 mm.
