They are normally used to hermetically close bags made of polyethylene, polypropylene, laminated materials (aluminum or paper).
Depending on the use and thickness of the material to be sealed may have sealing bars of 2, 5, 10 or 14 mm. Their operation can be by vibration, ultrasonic, hot bar, impulse or continuous sealing. The sealing machines are mainly used in the packaging world
IMPULSE SEALERS – 2 or 5 mm sealing thickness Mainly suitable for sealing of polyethylene, polypropylene bags and coupled materials.
They are characterized by the presence of one or two sealing bars which are only heat for a few seconds, to the passage of electric current.
These sealers are very simple to use, adjustable precisely by timer.
Normally they can be also available with cutter for trimming of the envelope or the sacks.
HOT BAR SEALERS – up to 14 mm sealing thickness
Mainly suitable for welding of polyethylene, polypropylene bags and
coupled materials.
The hot bar sealing machines are characterized by the presence of two constant heat sealing bars.
The temperature is adjustable by means of temperature controller.
We recommend using the electrically operated models as, sealing performed with the manual models, it is subject to the ability and skill of the operator.
The sealers can be manual for benchtop, portable clamps, with floor and with mechanical or electrically driving.
CONTINUOUS SEALERS – 10 mm sealing thicknessThe continuous sealing machines are equipped with a motorized belt which transports the bags and the sacks while the sealing heads carry out the sealing.
The sealers are equipped with potentiometers for adjusting the speed of the carpet and the temperature regulators to manage resistances.
There are many types of sealing machines, with different features and capabilities.
The sealers are also available with thermal transfer marker, suitable for marking and LOTS or EXPIRY DATES on food bags.
ULTRASONIC SEALERS – 4×3 mm sealing thickness
The ultrasonic sealers are ideal to seal trays and plastic blister packs (OPS, PSP, PVC, EPS) for food or technical use and are equipped with potentiometer for controlling the welding power. They are small clamp sealing machines that thanks to their characteristics are fast, simple to use and do not require preheating.
The operation is very simple, heat is developed by ultrasound and is transmitted to the two surfaces of plastic sealing them instantly with a point-resistant and smudge.
